Cookie policy

There's no banner on this site because there's nothing to consent to. This page explains why.

Last updated 29 July 2026

We don't track you

This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no cross-site trackers. We don't know how many people visit, which pages they read, or where they came from — and we've accepted that trade deliberately.

It's a slightly odd position for a marketing agency, given we install this sort of measurement for clients every week. The difference is consent: a client's visitors are told and asked. For a brochure site like ours, we don't need the data enough to justify following you around for it.

What actually gets stored

A security cookie from our host

Cloudflare serves and protects this site, and may set a cookie named __cf_bm to distinguish real visitors from bots. It lasts around 30 minutes, contains no information identifying you personally, and cannot be used to track you across other websites. Under privacy law this counts as strictly necessary, which is why no consent prompt appears.

Nothing else, unless you're one of us

The site includes an internal review tool that our team uses to leave comments on the design. It only activates from a special link, and when it does it stores those comments in your own browser so they aren't lost. If you've never used that link, nothing is stored. Even then, it never leaves your browser except when we deliberately send it to ourselves.

The one third-party request

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. This doesn't set a cookie, but it does mean your browser contacts Google's servers, which reveals your IP address to them. It's the only external request this site makes. We intend to host the fonts ourselves and remove it — we'd rather the page didn't talk to anyone you haven't chosen to talk to.

How to check we're telling the truth

Don't take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Application or Storage tab, and look at the cookies for this domain. You should find nothing but the Cloudflare security cookie. If you find something else, we'd genuinely like to know: hello@daenaagency.com.

Blocking them anyway

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the Cloudflare one may mean you're occasionally asked to prove you're human, but nothing on this site will break.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics, we'll add a proper consent banner before it loads, and update this page. We won't switch tracking on quietly and leave this text sitting here contradicting reality.

More detail

What we do with what you send us.

The privacy policy covers the contact form: what's collected, where it's stored, and how to have it deleted.
